No matter the hot sun and the simmering sand dunes, Ram Charan and his heroine Kajal will soon be shooting for Rajamouli’s film from March 19 in Rajasthan.
We had already reported that the film is about reincarnation, et al. So, the film will be shot in the palaces and forts there.

He further revealed that he lost 1.5 acres of land in Jubilee Hills. “I was acting in Apoorva Sahodarulu and the producers offered me 1.5 acres of land in Jubilee Hills as part of my remuneration. One day, Mohan Babu came to me and childed me for taking that barren land. He asked me to refuse to own the land and instead made me to take money from them. Whenever I come to Hyderabad and pass through Jubilee Hills, I shut my eye as my heart cries in grief,” he laughed.

Clinton Sees New Race; Obama Talks Tough

WASHINGTON (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton declared Wednesday that her primary victories in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island had reordered the Democratic presidential race in her favor. A resilient Barack Obama countered with fresh pledges of support from superdelegates and said his lead remained intact.
One day after his worst showing in a month, Obama blamed negative attacks by the former first lady for his defeats and quickly made good on a promise to sharpen his criticism of her.But there was no disputing he had missed a chance to drive her from the race. Or that in contrast to the Republicans, who have settled on Arizona Sen. John McCain as their nominee, the Democrats face the prospect of a potentially divisive campaign lasting deep into spring."I'm concerned about unity.
That's the major reason I've stayed out of this," said Sen. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, who is neutral. "The longer this campaign goes on, the more difficult it will be to unify and heal."Returns from Texas caucuses showed Obama reclaiming some of the ground in the delegate competition that he lost Tuesday night as Clinton's victories piled up.
Overall, she showed a gain of 12 delegates for the contests on the ballot, according to The Associated Press count, with another dozen to be awarded. In all 370 were at stake. Texas Democrats were still counting ballots from the Tuesday night caucuses.In addition, Obama gained endorsements from superdelegates in Georgia, Vermont, Ohio, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
Clinton picked up two superdelegates during the day but lost one, for a gain of one.Obama's overall delegate lead stood at 1,567 to 1,462 as the rivals looked ahead to the final dozen contests on the calendar. It takes 2,025 to win the nomination.
That left weeks for public campaigning, millions more to be spent on television ads, probably one more debate and plenty of private cajoling of party leaders, the superdelegates who attend the convention but are not chosen in primaries or caucuses.About 350 of them remain uncommitted, enough to swing the nomination in the unlikely event they decide to line up behind one candidate or the other."We are vigorously talking to the uncommitted automatic delegates.

ATHENS, Greece (March 5) - Road construction on the western Greek island of Lefkada has uncovered and partially destroyed an important tomb with artifacts dating back more than 3,000 years, officials said on Wednesday.

ArchaeologicalDiscoveries

In December, archaeologists said they found the first known surviving Roman throne in the ruins of Herculaneum, which was buried under hot ash and lava when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D.

The find is a miniature version of the large, opulent tombs built by the rulers of Greece during the Mycenaean era, which ended around 1100 B.C. Although dozens have been found in the mainland and on Crete, the underground, beehive-shaped monuments are very rare in the western Ionian Sea islands, and previously unknown on Lefkada.The discovery could fuel debate on a major prehistoric puzzle - where the homeland of Homer's legendary hero Odysseus was located."This is a very important find for the area, because until now we had next to no evidence on Mycenaean presence on Lefkada," excavator Maria Stavropoulou-Gatsi told The Associated Press.Stavropoulou-Gatsi said the tomb was unearthed about a month ago by a bulldozer, during road construction work."Unfortunately, the driver caused significant damage," she said.She said the tomb contained several human skeletons, as well as smashed pottery, two seal stones, beads made of semiprecious stones, copper implements and clay loom weights. It appeared to have been plundered during antiquity.

With a nine-foot diameter, the tomb is very small compared to others, such as the Tomb of Atreus in Mycenae, which was more than 46 feet across and built of stones weighing up to 120 tons.But it could revive scholarly debate on the location of Odysseus' Ithaca mentioned in Homer's poems - which are believed to be loosely based on Mycenaean-era events. While the nearby island of Ithaki is generally identified as the hero's kingdom, other theories have proposed Lefkada or neighboring Kefallonia.Stavropoulou-Gatsi said the discovery might cause excitement on Lefkada but it was too soon for any speculation on Odysseus."I think it is much too early to engage in such discussion. The location of Homer's Ithaca is a very complex issue," she said.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hillary Clinton and rival Barack Obama are running neck-and-neck in Ohio and Texas one day before their crucial Democratic presidential showdowns, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Houston Chronicle poll released on Monday.
Clinton, fighting to save her presidential bid after 11 straight wins by Obama, desperately needs victories in the big-state battles to keep her candidacy alive and face the Republican candidate in the November election.
Obama, an Illinois senator, has a slim advantage on Clinton in both states, although the leads are within the poll's margin of error of just under 4 percentage points.
Obama leads 47 percent to 44 percent in Texas, as Clinton gained 1 point overnight in the polling conducted by Zogby International. He leads 47 percent to 45 percent in Ohio, a turnaround from Clinton's 1-point advantage on Sunday.
Obama has wiped out big leads in the last two weeks in both states for Clinton, a New York senator and former first lady, but in the final days of the race neither candidate has managed dramatic shifts.
"There are no big movements, no great swings, these are just very tight races," pollster John Zogby said. "At least for now it doesn't look like either one of them is going to be winning in a blow-out."
Republican front-runner McCain, however, appears headed to easy victories in both states. He has big double-digit leads over his last major rival, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
McCain, an Arizona senator, is moving closer to clinching the Republican presidential nomination and has built an insurmountable lead in delegates, who will choose the nominee at the party's September convention.

The 81-year-old men’s magazine mogul - who originally asked the twins to model for him when they turned 18 three years ago - but was turned down - hopes the girls will accept his invitation to appear in a June issue.
The Olsen Twins turn 22 on June 13.

Mani’s film sans Ranbir

story doing the rounds. We had informed you a few days back that ace director from South India, Mani Rathnam, is getting his next project ready. The film will be a love story and will feature the real life love jodi Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Now the rumor mills are churning with one more story, which says Ranbir will also feature in this project. But insiders who are close to the project have no clue as to where this one started from. It is true that the story demands one more male character but that will have to be someone older than the junior Bachchan.
So now it is clear that it will surely not be Ranbir who will do the role. So who will it be? Maybe another favorite of the director, Madhavan who has done a handful of films with Mani, or will it be Aravind Swamy one more favorite actor of the director who had starred in ‘Roja’ and ‘Bombay’ and both were super-duper hits.
With speculations going around and the director still on the look out for this other character all we can do is just wait till more news emerges on this front.

Once the shooting of this film is done she will next be seen on location for a two-month shoot for ‘Kambaqth Ishq’. Bebo will share screen space with Akshay Kumar in this flick that is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Towards the end of this year Kareena will be off to London where she along with her boy friend Saif will shoot for a Karan Johar film that is yet-to-be-titled.
With such a busy schedule and flying from one country to another Bebo will hardly have anytime for her own. But the thrill lies in getting to see so many places in such a short span!
