Slumdog Millionaire almost singlehandedly swept the 81st Annual Academy Awards this time around with 8 OSCARS in major categories like Best Director, Best Film, Best Original Score, Cinematography, Film editing, Original Score, Original Song, Sound mixing and Best Adapted screenplay Out of 10 Possible nominations it has got.
It was a day that belonged to the Team of Slumdog Millionaire as it was evident when Christian Colosan the producer of the movie invited all the crew Members on stage while accepting the award for The Best Film.
Kate Winslet Won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the film “The Reader”, while Sean Penn won the Oscar for the Best Actor for his role in the film “Milk” and Penelope Cruz did the same for her role in “Vicki Cristina Barcelona".81st Annual Academy Awards Winners
